The Headwaters Lodge and Cabins provides cabin-style lodging in a duplex setting, and there are three cabin styles to choose from. Located at Flagg Ranch, the Headwaters Lodge is home to Shelfields Restaurant, a convenience store and lounge, and the Headwaters Campground and RV Sites is close by. The Flagg Ranch became a Park Service concessioner with this land transfer. Some rooms feature living rooms and kitchenettes while others are motel-style with a king bed and one pull-out bed in the couch. It features a variety of accommodations from one-room rustic log cabins to two-story buildings with lodge-style rooms. Today, Signal Mountain Lodge is a full-service establishment that serves guests from all over the world. ![]() In the early days there was no indoor plumbing. In fact, the first fishing guides were hired not only to guide guests on fishing outings but to build the log-hewn cabins and furniture. When it opened in the 1920s, Signal Mountain Lodge aimed to attract well-to-do outdoorsmen to Grand Teton National Park.
